Something not working? Write to us.
A person reads every message. There is no ticket queue and no bot in front of it.
We aim to reply within two business days. If it’s about a charge or a lost account, say so in the subject line and we’ll get to it first.
How do I invite my co-parent?
Open Settings and tap Invite co-parent. The app gives you a six-character code and offers to share it by message or email. The code works once and expires after seven days — if it lapses, generate a new one.
One subscription covers both parents. The person you invite doesn’t pay anything.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Account → Remove your account. You’ll be asked for your password, which is there to prove you hold the account, not to talk you out of it.
Deleting removes you — your name, your access, your sign-in. It does not erase the family’s record, because that record is also your co-parent’s history of their own children. When the last member of a family leaves, everything goes: every entry, every photo, and the family itself. Deletion is applied to the live database at once; deleted photos can remain in our storage provider’s recovery window for up to 7 days, and server logs, which hold identifiers but never the content of entries, are kept for 30 days.
If you can’t reach the app for any reason, email us and we’ll do it for you.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so they’re canceled in your store account:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → CoCoparent.
- Android: Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → CoCoparent.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
What happens to our record if we stop paying?
You keep it. A family that has ever subscribed can always read and export its full history, however long ago the subscription lapsed. What stops is adding new photos, notifications, and anything else premium — not access to the days you already recorded.
We think holding a child’s history behind a lapsed card would be an indefensible thing to do, so we don’t do it.
My verification email never arrived
Check your spam folder first — that is where it usually is. Nothing in the app is blocked waiting for it, so you can carry on and verify later from Settings.
Can I use CoCoparent for a court case?
No, and it isn’t built for one. There is no message thread, no tone monitoring and no expense ledger, and we make no claim that entries would be accepted as evidence anywhere. If you need a court-oriented record, other products do that job properly. See the Terms of Use.
